  • Dr. Nicole Ranttila

    President

    Dr. Nicole Ranttila is a psychologist in private practice in Boardman. She is a graduate of Girard High School, Youngstown State University and the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Ranttila specializes in assessment and treatment of anxiety, depression, and autism. She also works with individuals, couples and families to strengthen well-being and relationships. When she is not working with clients, she teaches yoga, spinning and barre. She is also President of the Youngstown Marathon Foundation, on the board of Dylan’s House nonprofit, and active in several other community organizations. Founding the Ranttila Scholarship Foundation was an important goal for Dr. Ranttila after the loss of her mother and sister. The foundation represents an opportunity to honor her mother's and sister's memories while looking toward the future for promising students.

  • Erin K Hollenbank

    Vice President

    Erin Hollenbank is a certified Fine Art Appraiser who works on high-value art loss claims in the insurance industry and has been an appraiser for 17 years in both private and corporate practice. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Kent State University and continued her Appraisal Studies at the University of Georgia. Her experience working with museums, auction houses, art galleries, and appraisal firms to secure the values of fine art qualify her as an expert in the industry with a specialty in paintings and works on paper from the 19th-21st centuries, both European and American in origin. In addition, Erin has taught art history courses at Yavapai College in Prescott, AZ and has been published 13 times in insurance journals and enjoys writing about her interesting finds in the art world.

    Erin was a class of 1997 graduate of Girard High School along with Sharla Ranttila, and through their friendship and friendship with Nicole Ranttila, Erin became involved with the Ranttila Scholarship Foundation. This foundation is important to Erin to honor the memory of Sharla Ranttila, her best friend from high school, and to give back to the community which brought them together. Erin currently lives in Cleveland with her husband and 2 English Bulldogs and is active in the local running community

  • Heather L. Logan

    Secretary

    Heather Logan is a Reporting Analyst with Trustmark Life Insurance. Heather has been with the company for 25 years and has held many different positions, all utilizing her strong organizational skills and technical expertise. She received her Bachelors in Computing and Information Systems from Youngstown State University in 1998.

    Heather enjoys serving her community and has volunteered for many different organizations: American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Angels for Kids, Youngstown Marathon Foundation, Red Cross, Ranttila Scholarship Foundation, and All Paws are Perfect. When not working or volunteering, Heather can be found in a yoga studio, walking her current foster dog, Penny, on a bike trail with her father, or at a bowling alley, cheering on her son, Matthew.

  • Alexandra A. Rokicki

    Treasurer

    Alexandra Rokicki is a Poland and YSU graduate who teaches high school mathematics. She also teaches yoga at a local studio and at several high schools. She loves animals, enjoys exercise, spending time with friends and family, reading, and being outside.

    This foundation is important to her primarily because of her friendship with Nicole Ranttila. She also feels bringing any attention to the importance and impact of mental health, especially in young adults, is crucial. She is extremely grateful to be alongside other strong women in this foundation and be able to award a scholarship to someone who will make the world a better place.

  • Tara L. Tonsetic

    Marketing Chair

    For the last 20 years, Tara Tonsetic has worked in the world of business development, marketing, and events for a variety of companies and non-profits, as well as herself. She loves the fall, naps, and meeting new people. Things that bring her joy include chips + salsa, a good book, John Hughes movies, her family, being a mama, a newly printed magazine, good coffee, hand-written notes (sending + receiving), and awesome art. She is involved with the Ranttila Scholarship Foundation because of her friendship with Sharla Ranttila. She currently resides in Cleveland with her hubby, 8-year-old son Noah, cat Chica + puppy Fenway.
